Love is a battlefield and there are wars on every front. It will take a few articles, but I can frame our society and situations, and then there will be a positive path forward. Or, if you prefer, I can show you the way out of the maze.
I am an egalitarian. I believe Men and Women are equal and have different roles to fulfill. Neither one is greater, but they’re diminished when they are compared or compete in the same space. I think the scales should be balanced, not held down on one side or the other.
Some men can be pretty intimidating, but men shouldn’t be feared as a whole. The overwhelming majority of women do not understand men and don’t want to either. This is usually from fear and to be fair, women are justified here. Some men are animals. However, you shouldn’t attempt to offload responsibility for your safety to anyone else. When a situation becomes dire, men in uniform will protect themselves over you. Or worse, be there in minutes when seconds matter.
While there are some vile men out there, the overwhelming majority of men would have put themselves in harm’s way to protect a woman from danger. This noble gesture, however, is quickly going away for good reason. Men are being unjustly persecuted for the other .8% of men. It seems these two things cannot coexist.
Overwhelmingly, it is men that run society. Not from the top down, but from the very, very bottom. It’s men who drive coal into furnaces for power. It’s men who fall off of roofs installing solar panels. It’s men who maintain the trains that move our energy supplies to the grid. It’s men who maintain sanitation and water filtration plants. It’s men moving trash away and keeps the streets safe at night. They do this happily because most of them were getting something out of this. Instead of vilifying them, a little appreciation goes a long way. All of these services would permanently shut down in 24 hours if men disappeared.
At the same time, nothing is more dangerous to society than restless young men. A society that has no benefits for young men will quickly flip the table over and begin anew. We’re well past that point, but we have two things our ancestors do not, access to endless entertainment and pornography.
Still, women can be the most calming thing to barbaric men. In the Middle East, there are a lot of young, restless men who will jump to violence any chance they get. One country got smart and deracialized their young men population. They did this by setting up a dating program and getting the men married off. When men have a wife to take care of, all of their priorities shift. They shift all of their resources and energy to be a provider, and they’re happy about it. That country no longer has a restless male population.
In terms of value from society’s point of view: Women are born rich and grow poor, and Men are born poor and can grow rich. A while ago, I heard of an all-girls school being bombed. There was international outrage for over a week. Then the same thing happened to the all-boys school, it was barely reported. No one cared.
When a woman is on her deathbed surrounded by friends and family, no one asks what she did for a career. Instead, they honor her as she brought over 70 other people into the world, being a great-grandmother.
Men build society, women grow society. Both are needed, and both are equal. Parts of the same coin, different sides. Without the comforts of civilization, femininity can’t exist, in other words, femininity cannot exist without Masculinity. Masculinity thrives when femininity is present and vice versa. Families benefit most when both are present.
An over-masculine society is one that takes too many risks. Strength is valued over everything else. Strength justifies everything else.
An over-feminized society is one that takes someone’s current feelings over everything. Wealth, health, and everything in between is sacrificed for the comforts of right now. Everyone is a judge and can hand down punishment without crime or due process. The possible crimes can be changed as much as the wind.
A healthy society is one that is balanced, giving each their provided roles. Misogyny and misandry hurt everyone, not just one side. Some people prefer to argue and, when it is convenient, sell you lies. A balance will not focus on the emotional state, but the overall health. Doing what does good, not what feels good.
I don’t need to put Women on a pedestal, as every society from the beginning has done so. Don’t believe me? Look at the art. Women, they can be amazing. Men can be awesome too. Gender does not determine if one is bad or good. The troublemakers of society usually grow up without a father. They are often the ones that make the most noise and get the most attention. The good ones are not doing wicked things, they are quietly going about their business.
The law of attraction can be many times more powerful when you become keenly aware of the people that exist and what’s available out there. Rather than pulling from the unknown and darkness, you can pull from the light and receive much faster.
That’s the good news, and like everything else, it will take one step at a time. You don’t need the world to agree with you, you just need that one ally who will stand by you.
